High School Never Ends: Freaks and Geeks Review

I'm saving the music video list for a later, lazier date. Instead I've discovered a TV that ran one season on NBC from 1999-2000, Freaks and Geeks. The show was produced by Judd Apatow, who directed The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up and produced Anchorman, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, among alot others. The show stars alot of recent stars such as James Franco, Seth Rogan, and Jason Segel.

The show revolves around a brother and sister going to school in the 1980-1981 school year. The brother Sam, is a nerd and has his group of nerds, and his sister, Lindsay, is trying to make it with the trouble making stoners. They both deal with the typical high school issuses and goofy parents. That's the basic plot of the series. At first I thought it was gonna be a sitcom, but it was actually a Teen Drama/Comedy. The show tackles alot of teen issues like parties with out parents, beer, drugs, bullies, the typical crap like that. It sounds like its generic but its not. Its actually really funny. It also has a really great soundtrack. I haven't seen the whole series yet, but so far its really good and I highly recommend it. That's all I really have to say, See Ya.
